Humanity juega con el concepto tanto de la humanidad refiriéndose al conjunto de seres humanos así como, el concepto de la humanidad individual de cada uno de nosotros. El curioso paralelismo existente entre los hechos y las emociones a través de la historia de la existencia de la humanidad con las experiencias y emociones de cada persona abren la ventana a la discusión e introspección de nuestras vidas y de la historia de la humandiad.
1| Awareness Road
Desde el momento en que nacemos inicia el camino de la vida, conforme avanzamos en el camino vamos acrecentando el conocimiento y la conciencia respecto a la existencia. ¿Existe una conciencia elevada, la llamada conciencia plena o simplemente cada individuo alcanza la conciencia que “puede” alcanzar en su vida? ¿Tenemos control sobre nuestra propia conciencia? The journey of life begins from the moment we are born. As we advance along the path, we increase our knowledge and awareness of existence. Is there such a thing as higher consciousness, a so-called full consciousness, or does each individual simply achieve the consciousness they "can" attain in their lifetime? ¿Do we have control over our own awareness?
2| Lightless
Durante el año 536 se registró el mayor periodo “sin luz” de la humanidad. Una nube de polvo y ceniza cubrió el hemisferio norte del planeta por 18 meses, a este fenómeno se le conoce como el “Invierno Volcánico”. ¿Existen etapas de “Invierno Volcánico” en nuestras vidas? ¿La tristeza, el odio o la ignorancia pueden apagar la luz en nuestras vidas? ¿Cómo fueron capaces las personas que vivieron ese fenómeno, con el pasar del tiempo, de mantener la esperanza de que algún día volvería a salir el sol? ¿Somos capaces de superar las etapas oscuras en nuestra vida? During the year 536, humanity's longest period of "lightlessness" was recorded, when a cloud of dust and ash covered the northern hemisphere of the planet for 18 months. This phenomenon is known as "Volcanic Winter." Are there stages of "Volcanic Winter" in our lives? Can sadness, hatred, or ignorance extinguish the light in our lives? How were the people who experienced this phenomenon able to maintain hope that one day the sun would rise again? Are we capable of overcoming the dark periods in our lives?
3| Dancing Soul
Generalmente nos referimos al alma como la parte más pura del ser humano. Cuando amamos, ayudamos o simplemente hacemos bien las cosas, se producen sensaciones de satisfacción y plenitud que podrían interpretarse como el alma en su máxima expresión, bailando sutilmente en nuestro ser. Así mismo, el recuerdo de un ser querido que ha partido permanece con nosotros, dándonos alegrías, inspiración y soporte. El alma de esa persona permanece bailando alegremente entre quienes la recuerdan. ¿Cómo imaginas que es el alma? We generally refer to the soul as the purest part of the human being. When we love, help, or simply do things well, feelings of satisfaction and fulfillment are produced that could be interpreted as the soul at its finest, subtly dancing within our being. Likewise, the memory of a departed loved one remains with us, giving us joy, inspiration, and support. That person's soul continues to dance joyfully among those who remember them. What do you imagine the soul to be like?
4| Contentment
Aparentemente imposible de alcanzar, seguramente por que lo asociamos a circunstancias externas (bienes, éxito, relaciones). ¿Es la Plenitud un destino o un modo de pensar? ¿Te has sentido pleno en algún momento? ¿Cómo identificamos la Plenitud? Apparently impossible to achieve, surely because we associate it with external circumstances (goods, success, relationships). Is Contentment a destiny or a way of thinking? Have you ever felt fulfilled? How do we identify fufillment?
5| Broken Veil
“Y he aquí, el velo del templo se rasgó en dos, de arriba abajo…” (Mateo 27:51). ¿Cómo un evento tan injusto fue necesario para que la Humanidad tenga la posibilidad de acceder al otro lado del velo? ¿Todo lo aparentemente malo tiene como objetivo el nacimiento de nuevas cosas buenas? Según el relato, cuando Jesús murió, el velo se rasgó desde la parte de arriba, lo que sugiere que fue un evento divino y no humano. El velo que se rasgó, era una gruesa cortina dentro del Templo de Jerusalén, que separaba el Lugar Santo del Lugar Santísimo. El sumo sacerdote podría cruzarlo una vez al año para ofrecer sacrificios en nombre de la humanidad. El velo tenía un fuerte significado religioso, marcando la barrera entre Dios y la humanidad. La ruptura del velo significó el inició del acceso directo a Dios sin intermediarios. “And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from top to bottom…” (Matthew 27:51). How was such an unjust event necessary for humanity to have the possibility of accessing the other side of the veil? Is everything seemingly evil intended to bring forth new good things? According to the story, when Jesus died, the veil was rent from the top, suggesting that it was a divine, not a human, event. The veil that was rent was a thick curtain within the Temple of Jerusalem, separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place. The high priest could cross it once a year to offer sacrifices on behalf of humanity. The veil had a strong religious significance, marking the barrier between God and humanity. The rent of the veil signified the beginning of direct access to God without intermediaries.
6| Eternal Regret
¿Han sucedido cosas que nunca debieron suceder en la historia de la humanidad? ¿Debemos vivir arrepentidos por actos que no cometimos o al ser parte de la humanidad cargamos con responsabilidad? La muerte de Jesús, la extinción de especies, la contaminación, la injusticia y los delitos contra la humanidad; ¿tenemos parte de responsabilidad en estos hechos? ¿Podemos pasar la página de los errores de la humanidad y de los nuestros propios para poder seguir adelante? ¿El arrepentimiento se extingue, se olvida o se integra? Have things happened in human history that should never have happened? Should we live in regret for actions we didn't commit, or do we, as part of humanity, bear responsibility? The death of Jesus, the extinction of species, pollution, injustice, and crimes against humanity—do we share responsibility for these events? Should we turn the page on humanity's mistakes and our own in order to move forward? Is regret extinguished, forgotten, or integrated?
7| Echoes Of The End
Todo lo que inicia tiene que afrontar un final, ¿quien dará fé de que la humanidad ha llegado a su fin? ¿En que momento deberíamos empezar a prepararnos para el final? ¿desde el momento mismo de nuestro nacimiento empezamos a escuchar los Ecos del Final? ¿El final es parte del inicio y del recorrido? Everything that begins must face an end. Who will attest that humanity has reached its end? At what point should we begin preparing for the end? Do we begin to hear the Echoes of the End from the very moment of our birth? Is the end part of the beginning and the journey?
